The Harvard Business Council (HBC) has recognized Dubai Municipality with the HBC Procurement Award for its outstanding achievements in the procurement realm at the HBC 2023 International Awards event, held on 29th May in Abu Dhabi.

This year, the HBC 2023 International Awards drew widespread participation from organizations worldwide as it received over 2000 applications for the competition, which showcased the highest level of talent and expertise. Following a two-week-long assessment by the HBC Jury, Dubai Municipality emerged as one of the select few winners across multiple categories.

Dubai Municipality’s exceptional performance in procurement earned them the coveted HBC Procurement Award, showcasing its unwavering dedication to excellence and best practices. With a focus on efficiency, transparency, and value optimization, Dubai Municipality has set a new standard in procurement operations, inspiring others to follow suit.

The HBC Procurement Award acknowledges Dubai Municipality’s remarkable achievements in cost reduction, supplier collaboration, risk management, and sustainability within its procurement processes.

The award ceremony took place at the Conrad Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi was the first in-person ceremony held outside the United States. The event brought together renowned organizations and influential personalities from the MENA region.
