For tile, the will need a straight edge, six-foot level, spacers, speed square, 5 gallon buckets, grout sponge, microfiber sponge, undercut saw, wet saw, angle-grinder, tile-snapper, safety glasses, trowel, ear protection, rubber gloves, tape measure, drill, mixing paddle, pencil, utility knife, and grout and mortar.

For hardwood flooring, the will need pencil, chalk line, miter saw, table saw, jam saw, 60-tooth carbide tip saw blades, six-foot level, tape measure, broom, cloth rags, eye and ear protection, gloves, dust mask, floor fasteners, hygrometer, moisture meter, calcium chloride test, compressor, painters tape, PVA wood glue, drill and drill bit set, rubber mallet and pry bar, and a hammer, nail set, and hardwood nailer.

For peel-and-stick vinyl tiles, they will need chalk line, a tape measure, a utility knife, and a handsaw.

Learn the installation process

Take time
