QUADHIR “Q” CLINE HONORED ON PRESTIGIOUS COLDWELL BANKER REAL ESTATE 30 UNDER 30 LIST

July 29 23:12 2019
Northern New Jersey Agent Named Among Top Young Real Estate Professionals in the World

Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC has announced that Quadhir “Q” Cline, a real estate agent affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Clifton, has been named to the Coldwell Banker® 30 Under 30. This prestigious list encompasses the top young real estate professionals among the 92,000 independent real estate professionals affiliated with approximately 3,100 offices in 44 countries and territories. This group of real estate professionals honors the heritage of founders, Colbert Coldwell and Arthur Banker, who started their company at 24 and 28 years old, respectively.

“Q has attained remarkable success in just two years in the real estate business, and I am proud to congratulate him on being named to the Coldwell Banker 30 Under 30. Q plays an instrumental role in the success of our company and remains committed to serving his local community. His already extensive knowledge, passion and professionalism have earned him numerous satisfied clients,” said Hal Maxwell, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, New York.”

Cline, 22, earned his real estate license in 2017. While he started with another brokerage, Cline said they didn’t have the “training, resources or name brand recognition” of Coldwell Banker. In the past two years, Cline has earned recognition for his sales success, including a nomination for the coveted America’s Top 100 Real Estate Agents. While Cline lives in Bergen County and specializes in local communities there and in Passaic County, his real estate business spans seven counties in New Jersey.

Prior to real estate, Cline earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and fashion from Berkeley College in New York City and a master’s degree in communications from The Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.

After having second thoughts about the fashion industry, Cline decided to attend real estate school. “It was actually a Groupon,” he said with a laugh. “I was in college, working and attending real estate school. My days were intense.” But he dove right into real estate upon earning his license and hasn’t looked back. “It’s been such a great experience. I enjoy getting to help people and feel like part of the community.”

Cline cited three women who have been instrumental in his real estate career: his mother, who worked in real estate at one time and has always inspired him; Shari Pippa, his personal real estate mentor and colleague; and his Coldwell Banker office manager, Glynice Coleman, who has supported him through his already accomplished career.

He attributes his success to hard work and his dedication to customer satisfaction. But Cline has also built a personal brand for himself, implementing the skills he learned from the fashion industry. “I’m not a regular suit and tie kind of guy,” he said. His style is clean and sleek yet relatable, and he has developed a following on Instagram that has helped connect him with young professionals and other clients who are interested in homeownership. “So many of these clients become friends. Since becoming a real estate agent I’ve attended many more weddings, housewarmings and children’s birthday parties!” he said.

Cline said he’s honored to represent his age group and people of color on the Coldwell Banker 30 Under 30. He often receives messages from young people who are looking to enter real estate and enjoys those instances where he can offer advice to help them get started and find their own success.

Cline is an active member of industry organizations, including New Jersey Realtors and its Young Professionals Network, and The National Society of Leadership and Success. He also enjoys giving back to neighbors in need by volunteering with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

“During this year of change for the real estate industry and especially momentous year for Coldwell Banker and its rebrand, I am immensely proud that these 30 young professionals are committed to furthering the message we have reaffirmed in our mission statement – to leave your mark,” said Charlie Young, president and chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC. “These honorees embody the core values that are at the heart of the Coldwell Banker network: home, awesomeness, ingenuity and excellence.”

The Coldwell Banker organization will honor Cline at the Generation Blue Experience® in New York City in Fall 2020.
